1.
Look up into the night sky, Into this vast ocean, Sparkling with stars like The distant islands of fortune… The clear and pure light Journeys To shine at night A million years... ...to arrive And touch the face from afar, Like a barely audible sigh The stars, the Sun, The myriads of distant orbs With their great beams The life has its source
2.
Melting like ice, they shall turn Into clouds in the sky… Melting like ice, we shall turn Into clouds in the sky…
3.
Also, our lives Are like clouds floating across the sky That change their shades And turn forever into new shapes… The clouds are drifting away But will always return With cinnabar and golden stain, The new dawn rises and burns The stars, the Sun, The myriads of distant orbs With their great beams The life has its source
4.
Remember as this earth you roam Behind the clouds, above our world Beyond the terrestrial gloom, Distant starlight radiates eternal The stars, the Sun, The myriads of distant orbs The gorgeous islands of cosmic sand They all are subject to time Archipelagos of asterisms Looking so endless and immense But they are subject to time They all have a birth and a death Time erodes all worlds into dust But the infinite great light Travels for eons to find us Hiding within the endless night Everything that exists Can be destroyed by time The tragedy of death pervades Everything that exists This is always the way for us, A bitter and terrible cup A difficult path That all shall tread…
5.
Time deprives us from everything But we are afraid to face the truth… Death cannot be avoided And there’s no way to escape it A memory of death Puts everything in its place… It looks like everyone Will pass away... And you, will you not die? The memory of death, Just memory of death Puts everything in its place… Hopeless and weak you will meet your death Unable to save all that has amassed Cramps of pain will shake the universe And you can take with you Only what is in your soul… A memory of death Puts everything in its place… It looks like everyone Will pass away... And you, will you not die? The memory of death, Just memory of death Puts everything in its place…
6.
On the shore of a vast stellar ocean Just past the swash and waves I've dipped my toes what seems like aeons ago Into the depths of space. Yet for the universe It's only been a blink, A tiny fleeting moment I suddenly woke up last night and opened the window. I gazed outside, wondering. The sky sparkled with stars as if a black velvet curtain covered the secret of life with golden fire. Their light touched my face, like a gentle breath…
7.
Everything that exists Can be destroyed by time. The tragedy of death pervades Everything that exists Light is life's universal seed, Traversing time and space With its touch, death erased The life and death, But inherent destination The all of life... It all shall end So that a new can start This is always the way for us, A bitter and terrible cup A difficult path That all shall tread

about

After many years of silence Intaglio has released a new full-length album called “II”. The album can be described as a "doom opera" and will not only amaze old fans of the band, but should also interest new listeners with the contributions Intaglio has made to the development of the style.

A large form was used on "II", which is exceedingly rare in metal and rock music. Only live instruments were used in the recording, including classical ones such as cello and upright bass, and professional vocalists with voices varying from basso profundo to soprano have created a unique palette of sounds. The album is a conceptual work with compositions and lyrics united as a single large piece, and for the full experience should be listened to from beginning to end in order to completely immerse the listener into its atmosphere.

"II" was recorded and mixed at Slow Burn Studio (When Nothing Remains, Woe Unto Me), was mastered by Mika Jussila (Shape Of Despair, Isole, Unholy, Moonspell) at the legendary Finnvox studio in Finland, and includes stunning cover art crafted by the Polish artist Mariusz Lewandowski (Bell Witch, Atramentus) and designed to highlight and complement the album's unique music. Both massive and sophisticated Intaglio’s creation is a brand new and exciting take on the doom death genre.

All sounds of the recording are 100%. No VST Instruments, drums replacement techniques were used.
Don't listen to separate tracks, listen to the album in full for best results!
